Carmen Lyons is an award winning botanical artist living in Kent, England. Trained in Fine Art, initially specialising in ceramics, she then discovered Botanical illustration and found her passion. Having struggled with illness from her late teens onwards, the creative, natural, and horticultural realm have been a space for healing and sanctuary. Always taking inspiration from nature, in particular the botanical and natural history world, capturing the delicacy and complexity of this kingdom. She has exhibited internationally, with the Society of botanical artists since 2011 being a previous fellow member, and has work in private collections.
