David is a graduate of the Central School of Art and Design and spent a number of years as a fabric buyer for Liberty and a freelance textile designer. In 2024 after moving from the North West to the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border he began drawing and painting again exhibiting locally. He is a member of the West Norfolk Artists Association and had exhibited in the Wisbech Gallery and is currently showing at the Chequer House Gallery in Kings Lynn. This Spring he is showing at the Arrival Gallery in Brighton and has been long listed for the Jacksons Art Prize. His work focuses on highly detailed pencil studies along side abstract and landscape paintings predominantly in acrylics
