On my Greek holidays, I always walk along the harbour and see many boats with fishing nets. The nets look like abstract paintings with the lines weaving left to right and backwards and forwards. The subject for a Greek drawing was obvious and right in front of me, and I enjoyed making a representational drawing of an abstract arrangement.
