There is so much beauty in form and structure, particularly of natural things; the best way to find out about them is through a deeper focus into the subject by way of drawing.
Nothing is predetermined.
Drawing inanimate objects allows so much time to gain a better idea of what attracts you in, the interest and involvement to be made, along with a deeper understanding of the construction and if required an inkling of any development which may be carried forward subsequently.
In the work, subtleties of the coloured pencil are explored, always wanting to portray an essential stillness and love for the subject, with an intention that the pieces carry with them a meditative and contemplative outcome."
