Graphite, watercolour and soft pastel on heritage paper
59 x 71 cm

This is one of a series of drawings celebrating the beauty and creativity of an often marginalised group: older women. My subject is Hilke; artist's model in 1960's Paris, potter and published poet. She is also the mother of my late ex-husband's second ex-wife - testament to the blended twenty-first century family.
